Simple question, if both teams are in the red, should they be allowed to make a trade with each other, even if the cash remains even? Currently, balanced trades are always allowed. This would force teams to manage their finances and trade with "green" teams to clear salary.

Strong no from me on this one.
Teams shouldn't be allowed to continue to add while operating over the budget. What's the point of a budget if you can just it whenever you want?

I voter “allow”, as long as teams in the red are able to structure a deal that is totally even via cash or ML players. I feel otherwise it may dramatically reduce value for players and lead to the rich getting richer by allowing a team not in the red to offer less for a player that a team in the Red is looking to sell; when another team in the red may be able to offer more creative deals involving retention/additional players - again as long as the amount ends up even both sides.

Work harder to be cash-flow, budget-conscious positive. Voted no.

In an effort to keep teams financially stable, we will ban trades between two teams in the red.
Changes have been made in the rules.

After receiving feedback, we will keep the rules "as-is." We have a good thing in the ABL and want to maintain that.
