Draft Pick Trading?
Yes or No
I am just curious, with the collection of General Managers we have in ABL, what the thought is about the trading of draft picks. This is just fact-finding and I would NOT act upon any outcome.Just curious... I am going to keep the results of this poll hidden from view until I lock it to REVEAL. Would love to see 30 votes!

I'm going to show my hand here, but also come off as totally hypocritical:
I DO NOT think we should be allowed to trade draft picks. It is not an MLB rule and honestly only benefits teams who choose to neglect their minor league systems, as it gives them more firepower to trade with during the offseason.
HOWEVER, I do not think any change in rules should go into effect this offseason (I doubt many agree with me, anyway). This is because I have abandoned my farm and need my picks in order to try and shed some salary. Criticize me all you want for this double standard; I probably deserve it.

This is merely fact-finding and my own curiosity about the makeup of the GM's currently in ABL. NOTHING will change pending this vote!

As I mentioned when I first posted this specific poll, this was merely interest on my part. With the current makeup of GM's in ABL, after a few seasons and some shake out from the original lineup of GM's, I was curious about where everyone stood on the issue of trading draft picks. Without adding any personal thoughts on this, I find it very interesting that of the 20/30 ABL GM's that cast a ballot, the split is 50/50. Would have been more interesting to have a 30/30 vote, but... Again, this was just curiosity on my part and there will be ZERO IMPACT on ABL as a result of this poll.
Thank you for your votes.
