Take some time to answer some questions about your team. 1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why? The Abyss! The ML talent of the team went crashing down with all the trades... 2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization? The #2 spot in the Top Systems Rankings 3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? Snell, Rendon, Diaz, Gadea all traded in 48hrs... 4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have? Every player or pick are available... 5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title? If we get there before 5 years, it's going to be a miracle :-) 6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why? I had rivals when I was the GM of the Indians. 60 wins teams don't have rivals ;-) 7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? Anybody but the Yanks ! ;-)

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
It's too early to say until we find out how things turn out. If we flop I would imagine it would be called "How to Ruin Your Future in 3 Easy Steps. If we manage to perform then maybe Turncoat.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Austin Brice
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Our top 5 farm system. Most importantly Thomaz Beames and Rodolfo Ornelas.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
Estevan Florial. He's arguably the best defensive center fielder in baseball and a slightly above average bat. At only 23 with 5 years of control remaining he's a truly valuable commodity.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
I like to think so. We have the talent to make the playoffs very soon and once we're there anything can happen.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
The Athletics. Not only did Christian Pache steal Florial's gold glove in 2020 but they have the most comparable window to us in our division.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Us. Mostly kidding, I would say Rockies over Indians.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
Fifty Shades of Grey. I chose this not because of the disturbing movie but because of the color grey. My offseason was plain boring and uneventful. I signed a few relievers and Zunino. Yay I guess. Also Marte I guess because I like pirates.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Jose Iglesias I guess. I forgot to mention him earlier but I believe he will have the biggest impact of my FA signings. Defense is dope.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
I didn't really lose much of anything so it would have to be Tulo. He hates philly but damnit was he decent for us.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
Tim Tebow
Also Odubel Herrera A.K.A. the second coming of Venezuelan Christ.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
HAHAHAHHAAHAHA I wish
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
I don't really think I have much of a rivalry to be honest. But because I must answer, the Braves. There is only room for one Successful Canadian in the NL east darn it.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Seattle vs Colorado
Colorado will win because post season kershaw in coors.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why? I would say Trading Places because we're hoping our youth movement can move us out of last place and toward a .500 season
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization? The addition of catcher Roy Morales that we believe is ready for prime time and to handle the catching duties full time.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? The same trade that brought Morales also cost us Micah Gyvens a stalwart of our bullpen
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have? Not sure that I have one but the closest that comes to is Jonathan Schoop
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title? In many ways this is the first year of a 5 year rebuild because we had contracts of veterans that we've had to eat in order to make it happen. World Series ? A strong maybe !
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why? I don't think we scare anybody in our division and I guess everyone is our rival
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Colorado beats Cleveland n 7

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
(Ker)Shawshank Redemption?
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
(see above)
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
I am concerned about losing Brandon Belt. It is nice to have some extra cash available (I was able to sign Daniel Murphy for $5MM less), and hope Murphy provides a boosted batting average, but Belt's defense is otherworldly. With such a high priority on helping my pitchers in any way possible, his glove was difficult to get rid of.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
Tough question. Almost any of my players could be had at the right price. Kershaw and Addison Russell are probably my most valued assets. JP Crawford, Luis Basabe, and Martin Perez are also highly valued, but frankly no one seems to bother asking for them.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
I hope so. It's no or never for Seattle. My window is open, and I hope I can take advantage.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
I wish I could say New York. They played me tough in the playoffs, and are the team to beat in the AL. However, I am not good enough yet to separate myself from Texas. The Rangers are my biggest rival, and I need to take care of business in my own division before I can think about the Yankees.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
In the AL, I think it's between me, Minnesota, and New York. Even trying to stay neutral, I think I had the best offseason. I hope I can live up to the expectations. In the NL, I like Los Angeles, Colorado, and Atlanta. As talented as the Dodgers are, I really like what Colorado has done this offseason. If Seattle faces Colorado in the World Series, do they have the bats to keep up with the Rox? I'm not so sure. Colorado over Seattle.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
Out of the Furnace - I.E out of the AL East and away from the Yankees. Although the Indians are formidable and the rest of the teams are strong, I think a division title is more achievable in the AL Central.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
I would say Matt Harvey. I have made some big moves, but in the ABL SP is king - and a return to form could help propel a contending season.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
No doubt - Manny Machado. He is a special player, but getting a younger SS and SP depth back, combined with the addition of Profar made his trade better to stomach.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
Uchida of course - and the only reason they can’t have him is because he is too expensive for anyone.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
That is hard to predict - with my core though, it is possible!
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
With my recent move to the AL Central, it’s too soon to say. I hope for it to be the Indians by the end of the year though.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
I will say... Yankees and Braves again. I believe the Braves will win, they are still young and got stronger this offseason.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why? Major League II. We were in the playoffs last year, but we have several wild things.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization? Getting Rid of Matt Harvey cleared a lot of money, which this organization desperately needs.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? Micheal Wacha was a successful player while he was a member of the Mets.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have? Matz? (Before the injury)
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title? It's possible.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why? I honestly do not know.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? Yankees and Braves seem to great teams every year. I say the Braves pull it off this year.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why? A Journey Through Time
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization? SP Julio Teheran, SP Yadier Alvarez, and SP Sam Claw
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? SP Alex Lange and SP Jesus Tinnoco
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have? 3B Joe Rizzo. I have more asks on him than any other player
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title? At this point, I hope I am under 5 years from the playoffs. World Series will be dependent on growth of young arms.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why? Haven't been in ABL long enough to form one, but I would say Cubs. They are the yard stick I am shooting for in NL Central.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? Honestly have no idea.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
I can't think right now, but something where an underdog forced a villain to skip town.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Cole Hamels. I needed depth at the top of the rotation to complement Michael Fulmer. I still have an excellent defense so Hamels diminishing ability to miss bats shouldn't be a huge concern. My other additions were also pitchers, but lower in scale.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Justin Verlander by default, though he pitched like a mid-rotation arm and not a star. Brandon Kintlzer and Jared Hughes really did great work out of my pen last season.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
Tyler Anderson. Everyone wants someone with his courage, but he's only here for the Rockies.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
I'm under one year away.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
The Dodgers. They think that just because they have a massive payroll and can buy up the best prospects that they can stroll to Championships. As Charlie Blackmon and Chris Heisey reminded them last year, that's not how things work.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
The Rockies will beat the Yankees in 6.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
Moneyball...GM Herman DeBarr was heard saying outside a Bunny Ranch that the owner has a small mind that wants small ball with small money and has small knowledge of todays game..then traded the owners favorite player Freddie Freeman that he asked to have extended.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Luis Guillorme SS and Simon Muzziotti CF both can flat out run/field and play baseball. They are young with good upsides.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Greg Spears CF didnt want to trade him but got a CF for the future and needed a frontline starter.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
Anthony Castro SP everyone trying to buy low as he is still developing.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
if the pitching in my minors developes well its a possibility.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
Cubs...they OWN me!!
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Braves and Yankees. Braves in 7

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
Until the Texas trade, it would have been Groundhog Day because while i had a good amount of discussions about my ML players, nothing came of it. 2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
The biggest addition was that so far only 1 player got traded and the others remain. 3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Arcia clearly. he is a top player. but with this year unlikely a year of contention i bank on the future. i have with Royce Lewis and Micheal Perez two top prospects making their way to the majors. 4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
With the Arcia trade i have proven that no one is untouchable 5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
i hope so 6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
to be determined
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
i dunno, just dont let the cubs take it

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
I'm cheating on this. I hate when people cheat at the questions, but I'm about to be guilty too. I'm saying i hope this season upcoming is Rocky II. Last year was Rocky, coming so close, but just short.....
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
SP Sonny Gray. He's a good pitcher, and i have been trying to acquire pitching forever. He's a vet on a pitching staff that didn't have one. I need him to be good.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Jurickson Profar. I didn't like trading him. He fit in so well. Hit's 300, plays good defense, and didn't even walk that much last year, but he was so good. I just couldn't afford him going forward. In my mind, i was basically choosing Swanson or Profar.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
In the last year, it was been Austin Beck. I've had a few decent offers and packages suggested, but I've also had some really bad offers for him that don't even make me think. I've had people ask about him and don't get back to me(pet peeve, don't ask me to do work and ignore it)
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
Damn, if we aren't it means we went backwards really fast after coming so close last year! So yes.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
It was the Mets with Fin here. We had a friendly fun rivalry! Without Fin, there are a few people who i've had negative private trade negotiations with, and I take extra joy beating those teams. I tend not to forget things like that. Vindictive much?!
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
The NL is loaded. Some fantastic teams. Someone is gonna need to get lucky there, cuz talent alone won't be enough. In the AL, lets say the Mariners with Kershaw take down the Yankees. The NL will win. GO NL!!

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why? The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. We were able to sign two solid additions to our team (Cron and May), missed out on Scheem (might not be so bad), and Alex Reyes took a hit to his stuff and it looks like possibly control ratings while on the DL.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization? It's close but I'm going to go with reliever Trevor May. Our bullpen was one area in which we could improve on, and he's arguably our 2nd best reliever.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? Since I have to pick someone, I'll go with Tommy Pham. Last season wasn't very good, but the one before that he hit .277 with 26 homeruns. His vision issues must've crept back up last season because he wasn't close to the player he was the year before.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have? Alex Reyes.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title? St. Louis is a city that demands a winning club. We've came close a few times at reaching the playoffs, but just haven't been able to make that final push. I think this year we make a challenge on Chicago for the division and end up with a wild card birth. Anything can happen if you get in, just ask Pittsburgh!
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why? Too easy, the Cubs. The Cardinals and Cubs is one of the best rivalry in sports, especially when both teams are competing. The Cubs have been on top in the ABL so far, but I'm excited for a full season of Altuve and Naquin this year.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? I don't think the Braves got any worse, so I'll go with Atlanta in the NL. I'm not picking against Shane in the AL, that Yankees lineup is stacked top to bottom! Yankees in 6.

1. If your offseason was a movie, what would it be called(real movie title), and why?
12 Angry Men just because its going to describe the team this year. Not really the movie but the title itself. Either they are fighting for a wildcard or going to flame out.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
We didn't add much this year besides a bunch of draft picks and Edgar Made which is looking like defensive stud ready for the big leagues. Really excited to see how he does this season.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Dustin Fowler would have to be the biggest loss on the team but we got some young prospects for him so we will have to see in a few years.
4. Who is the player you have that everyone wants, but can't have?
At the moment all players are available for something.
5. Are you under 5 years away from a World Series title?
I think we got a chance in about 4-5 years.
6. Who is your biggest ABL rival and why?
Just coming into the league, I'm not quite sure yet.
7. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? Rockies over Yankees in 7
