Take some time to answer some questions about your team.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why? 2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization? 3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? 4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it? 5. What's your favourite movie of 2017? 6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time? 7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season? 8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?

1. Not really sure to be honest. I would have liked to upgrade my starting pitching but that didn't exactly happen. 6/10 i guess.
2. The man, the midget, Jose Altuve.
3. I don't really think I lost anyone big. I suppose Castro because of his good personality in the clubhouse.
4. I had hoped I had him last year (moniak) but as for this year, nope. The only shot I have is if Sixto Sanchez can put it all together but that all depends on if he can develop his changeup more.
5. ummmm. Can't think of any. Jumanji was decent.
6. Only ever watched 42 so that I guess!
7. 80? Hopefully. The preseason predictions predict 62 though which isn't good at all.
8. Seattle and Miami. Calling it now.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why?
5. Solid 7. I didn't get the pitching i wanted to, and we didn't have the money to add much via free agency. We did add Mookie Betts, which is a huge positive. We got better, not worse.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Mookie Betts is obviously the biggest addition. He is a middle of the order, do everything type of player in his prime, who makes an affordable salary. His addition makes us better.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Trading a stud SS isn't a fun thing to do. Those guys do not grow on trees, at least not the way Kevin Maitan was developing. Still though, with Swanson, Albies and Profar, it made zero sense to keep him.
4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
Ian Anderson will be in the rotation from day one. I obviously am hoping and expecting big things from him. We need him to continue to develop and be the man. With all the pitching I've had regress, his development is that much more important.
5. What's your favourite movie of 2017?
I'm a movie buff. I make a point to watch movies as much as i can, so that's pretty much why i asked this question. So far, my favourite is Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. Im a big Martin McDonagh fan. I thought In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths were both brilliant, and had Three billboards on my radar for a long time. The Disaster Artist, Wind River, Gifted, The Shape of Water, I Tonya were also up there this year.
6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
It depends on the day. Field of Dreams probably takes it most days. But if the Natural is one TV, i can't turn it off. Major League, Naked Gun both make me laugh every time. Moneyball is so well made. There are alot. Baseball tends to make really good movies.
7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
88 wins. Yep, that's right. Atlanta is competing this year!
8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Start spreading the news.....New York, New York..... So, um...New York will win..

1. Undoubtedly a 10. Only because I got the #1 and #3 overall picks in the draft lottery.
2. Does the #3 Overall Pick Count? If so that. If not, Yadier EchevarrÃ🖾Ã-a.
3. The biggest loss was Yoshiya Taniguchi (and his massive contract)
4. Anaheim is not short on Rookie of the year candidates. On the mound Franklyn Kilome, Frank Lopez and maybe even Anthony Castro could compete for the reward. On the other side we have rookies at nearly every position and I fully expect Jahmai Jones. Jake Burger, Willi Castro, and possibly even Nolan Jones to compete for the award. Some of the early favorites for the reward have to be Anaheim's own Matt Thaiss and more so Cole Brannen.
5. Obviously Star Wars.
6. The Natural just barely gets the edge over Moneyball.
7. The preseason predictions believe in our youth movement and have us going .500. Unfortunately I'll have to take the under on that and say 72 Wins, I think the lack of strong starting pitching will hold us back from exceeding 75. Theoretically if all of our starters develop quickly we could even sneak into the playoffs but I don't see that happening this year.
8. I'm going to be bold Twins over Braves.

Take some time to answer some questions about your team.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why?
Obviously, I can't fully assess my offseason until I see the results in the field. Wins are what matter most, so I won't be able to say if it was truly successful until October. That being said, I got myself out of some sticky financial situations, boosted my fan excitement, and have a best-ever projected revenue for 2020. Given those things, I'd say it's a 7 for me.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
SP Martin Perez. Perez was quickly signed to an extension, and I think he will fit in nicely with my stellar defense behind him. He has incredible skills and consistency, and is not yet 29.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization? Definitely Luis Castillo. That guy has the potential to be a can't-miss ace, and I sent him to a division rival. That being said, I prefer movement guys, and Perez was an upgrade, at least for 2020.
4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
To be honest, I think I might! Daz Cameron boasted 5+ WAR in AAA last year, and will start off the year as the every day center fielder with the Mariners. If he continues his elite defense and can hit even a little, he will put himself in the conversation for ROY.
5. What's your favourite movie of 2017?
I thought 2017 was a down year of movies. I know Dunkirk got a lot of hype, but honestly, I see why. Sometimes you just know when you are watching quality film, and when I saw Dunkirk I knew it was one of those instances.
6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
Perhaps my favorite movie of any kind of all time: Moneyball. The whole "smarter vs. richer" dichotomy of the premise really sticks with me. I love the soundtrack. It really tugs at my heart strings, because I love trying to find new ways to gain an advantage in fantasy baseball or OOTP. Simply put, it's great. And a 1st Saturday in March tradition for me.
7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
I hate predicting wins. I have no idea. However, given my recent research on WAR (related to wins), I think I have added enough to my team to get to 90 wins. I can say that with some confidence.
8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? I'm not completely sold on the Yankees. I think the AL is more wide open than people may think. However, Dodgers are just unreal. Los Angeles wins the World Series, over Texas.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why?
6- Needed to move some pieces to open up roster spots for my younger guys. No real big moves needed. Not ready to compete yet.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Seth Beer - but only because we didn't make a lot of moves this offseason.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Max Kepler will definitely hurt. Everyone else returns from last years team.
4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
Too early to tell. I'll have a couple of rookies playing this year, Gavin Lux, Vladimir Guerrero jr, Seth Beer.
5. What's your favourite movie of 2017?
No time to see any. It's basketball season. We are at the halfway point in our season right now and playing well. All my free time goes to watching film of the next game.
6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
Too many good ones to name.
7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
If pitching holds up, i think anything over .500 is a good year for us. The following year will be the year we make a push at the Indians and Astros.
8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Yankees will play the Dodgers. Yankees are too good. STOP TRADING HIM STUD YOUNG PLAYERS. hahahaha

1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why?
I would rate our offseason a 3. We didn't acquire big name talent. We didn't make a splashy trade. We didn't make an obvious move that screams "going for it!". We made minor moves to continue the push to get better defensively, to be more of a threat on the bases and a couple of moves to replace bullpen pieces that left via FA. I am pleased with the overall approach to the offseason, though.
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
As sad as it is, a lefty bullpen arm that can give us some much-needed lefty bullpen presence this year. Josh Edgin is a guy who just couldn't push others out of the way in 2 previous seasons, so he left as a minor league FA and Colorado scooped him up off waivers after Chicago waived him. He acquitted himself quite well in the land of the Rockies, so I'm hopeful at 33 he has figured things out. He will primarily be a lefty specialist (80/65/50 against LHB) for us.
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
I lost Brandon Kintzler and Jerry Blevins out of the bullpen to FA. These were salary and budget decisions, the by-product of a new owner who reduces budget! Having veteran arms in the late innings gives a manager comfort that the experience and talent will come together and guide them through tough spots. Losing those guys means Paul Fry and Corey Knebel will be picking up significant innings this year, and I'm just not sure they will give me the comfort the other two have, based on up to date results in their career. They definitely have the talent, so i will be watching with interest how it plays out for them.
4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
If he breaks camp with the big club, Ricardo Cespesdes could continue the line of performance that his non-related Yeonis namesake has given MY Met fans. R-Ces is a 15 WAR minor league player (total through his minor league years, of course) that tantalizes with speed, defense and a hitting profile built around contact. Every minor league stop saw R-Ces hit for average, get on-base and slug his way to positive WAR (lots of doubles). R-Ces is a +45 ZR in 372 games (238 starts) as a CF with 67 assists! The lefty 22 year old is better against RHP, so it could mean he platoons with Pillar until he further develops in his career. But it is certainly exciting waiting on this talent to make his NY debut!
5. What's your favourite movie of 2017?
It's been a slow year for movie watching for the household. I would say Deadpool was a nice mix of action and humour!
6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
Hands-down, The Natural. I still get goosebumps when he walks off the bench to hit that towering home run. A tragic career that could have been, it fits how tragic/majestic/heroic baseball can be!
7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
What a great question. So many things go into projecting a number. I will use WAR projection to say 90 wins for us this year. I will definitely be back to review this number at the end of the season. lol
8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? The New York Yankees will play the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs have added significant additions to help them in October. Yankees though will prevail, in 6 games. Shane will go back to back!

1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why?
about a 2 - We were not very successful in the off season as we had no takers for some of our highly paid veteran players. It's a little frustrating because a couple of these guys could help a contender to win it !
2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
SS Aramis Ademan in a trade with the Cubs
3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
CL Zach Britton to the Cubs to free some money
4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
Possible contenders would be SS Delvin Perez and 3B Kirvin Mosequit
5. What's your favourite movie of 2017?
Darkest Hours
6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
Field of Dreams but many contenders
7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
78
8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Yankees will win it all

Take some time to answer some questions about your team.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why?
I'd say 6.5. I picked up an upgrade at C and 2B that are youngish and cheapish, some additional SP and RP for depth, shed some salary and picked up a lotto ticket (Uchida) that could be a good, although overpaid, CL, or possibly a stud SP. 2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Potentially Uchida. Anyway, I hope he is... I'd hate for Zimmermann 2.0. 3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Probably my 2nd round draft pick - either that or Griffin Canning, however they are both long-shot lotto tickets. 4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
It's hard for a SP to win - but if any could, if Uchida holds his own he might have a shot at top 3. 5. What's your favourite movie of 2017?
Logan for sure. 6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
Toss up between Little Big League, A League of their Own and Field of Dreams 7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
Honestly, I won't be happy with anything less than 73. 8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win? The Yankees and Mets. I'd pick the Mets.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how successful was your offseason? And why? 9. Added a SP to replace the retired Jon Lester (former Cy Young Winner Carlos Martinez). RP was a weak spot last season and I traded for an elite CL Zach Britton and signed RP Justin Wilson via free agency. These moves allowed me to move last season's closer, Carl Edwards, to the setup/MR role which is more suited for his skillset. Traded future HOF Bryant to the Yankees but replaced him with Franco and added some OF depth in Clint Frazier. Traded Ian Happ for Brian Dozier. Will have to address 2B in the next offseason but I like Dozier as a one year rental. 2. Who is your biggest addition to the organization?
Zach Britton. Elite level closer. Gave up 3 HRs in the last 4 seasons. Having a guy you can hand the ball to in the 9th, and not worry about, is a great feeling. 3. Who is the biggest loss for your organization?
Definitely Kris Bryant. He was set to become a FA year after next but man, he is a truly amazing player, impossible to truly replace a guy like him. 4. Do you have this year's rookie of the year? Who is it?
No. There's some talent on the farm but no one ready to be ROY this season. 5. What's your favourite movie of 2017? The newest Star Wars was pretty solid 6. What's your favourite baseball movie of all-time?
Eight Men Out or Field of Dreams 7. How many games, exactly, will you win this season?
100 8. Who will play in the World Series, and who will win?
Cubs v Yankees....Cubs will win it this year. Looking to make the playoffs for the 6th straight season and this year the Cubs will make it out of the first round and back to the WS.
